Sunshine Dental Clinic is a father-daughter dentist team dedicated to serving patients and their families with love and care.

 

We are excited about welcoming both old and new patients in Richmond and others throughout the Greater Vancouver area.

 

Dr. Gary Tao has a passion in helping patients save their teeth from being extracted through root canal treatments and in dental implants to restore function.

 

Dr. Cecilia Loewen's passion is in creating beautiful smiles through orthodontics (Invisalign) and having fun working with kids!

Dr. Tao graduated in 1988 from West China University School of Dentistry where he stayed as an alumnus to teach as a clinical instructor at the dental hospital.

 

He and his family then immigrated to Vancouver where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Tao has over 35 years of clinical experience, with over 20 years of practice in Vancouver. He continues to serve with passion and keeps up to date through continuing education studies, seminars, and conferences.

陶勇医生畢業於華西醫科大學 口腔醫學院並留校任主治醫生八年。2001 年畢業于 UBC 大學牙學院獲牙醫博士，服務溫哥華地區至今。累積三十五年臨床經驗。他精湛的技術及對病人的關懷深得患者及同行的稱讚。

Dr. Tao is excellent. We followed him to Richmond from his previous practice in Burnaby (even though it is much further). It has been worth the extra drive as he always does excellent work, and he never tries to suggest extra or unnecessary dental procedures. Both he and his staff are also very kind and friendly, further adding to the experience. I would recommend Dr. Tao to anyone and everyone.
